Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family that included musicians. Growing up she was influenced by the classical music of her parents, boleros as well as the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana has a passion for Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. Her mother taught her to sing, however she started more intense training in vocals through Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera Tenor. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she performed for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. The passion and love she has for music, art, and performing keep her engaged in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
