Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actress. His acting career started with TV roles, including Opposite Sext, which he portrayed in 2000. His fame was boosted by his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics character in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans continued to appear in movies based on comic books: TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2013). The character of Captain America/Steve Rogers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 (2015), 2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) as well as Endgame 2019, brought him more recognition. His role in the Marvel series made him one of the highest paid actors.
